I think I'm onto something here, but I'm not sure if it's phrased correctly:
Conservatives legislate individuals based on the morals of society,
Liberals legislate society based on the morals of the individual.
Now, granted, conservatives' idea of the 'morals of society' are probably pretty different than my own, but it's something..

Well, keep in mind that conservatives are also trying to fullfill their own individual objectives. Look at Bush. Some liberals also feel that they are acting for the benefit of society as a whole (rather than just the rich, etc).

Yeah, I suppose though that conservatives are working towards their own personal idea of the 'morals of society'..
It's more that I just didn't think it all the way through before posting ;).. it just sounded nice heh
